Welcome to our new Site<\/span><\/h1>\n

The Boiotian Equestrian Club was founded in 2012 and is based in the Boiotian Castle in the premises of the STATEPARK STABLES, 100km from Athens<\/p>\n

The Club uses the grounds and buildings of STATEPARK STABLES stud farm which\nextend to over 40 acres of arable land and was built in 2003. The stud farm originally\nalso operated as a retirement home for ex racehorses but it has catered for all\nequines since VEC took over in 2012.<\/p>\n

There are 51 boxes, 3 storage\/hay rooms, various fenced paddocks, grooms\u2019 and\nowners\u2019 quarters including offices and medical rooms, a foaling box and a\nvet\/examination box, a horse walker, a 1,5 mile exercise track around the fenced\nperimeter of the farm and a 30 X 80yds sand exercise arena.<\/p>\n

Horses come first at VEC as we cater for active and retired horses from all spheres\nand we provide individual attention and care.<\/p>\n

All resident horses follow our\nvaccination and deworming protocols and are turned out in small groups. Our\nexperienced staff monitor each horse\u2019s social\/bonding behavior and adjust their\nschedules accordingly.<\/p>\n

There are regular vet and farrier visits. We also have\nabundant water year round and our paddocks are managed so that they are green\nand good for grazing all year.<\/p>\n

The location at Kastro offers mild winter weather and\nmanageable summer heat hence providing an ideal and relaxed set up for our\nprecious family members.<\/p>\n

Viotikos Equestrian Club (VEC) caters for ALL horses, disciplines and ages, even\nbreeding.<\/p>\n

Although primarily a getaway for active horses and a retired horse\nestablishment, members are welcome to discuss their individual boarding needs.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Standard boarding and turn out for all horses can be customized per\nindividual needs.<\/li>\n
  • We can accommodate active horses in training subject to negotiation*.<\/li>\n
  • We have the know-how and the facilities to breed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    We have a walker, a sand arena and a perimeter exercise track that can all be used\nto condition horses on site.<\/p>\n

    There are also lots of dirt tracks outside the yard for\nhacking and\/or endurance training. We successfully co-hosted 3 endurance events in\n2023 including the national championship finals.<\/p>\n

    *We do not have resident or attached trainers but we are happy to discuss and\naccommodate individual requests.<\/p>\n
